Terms of service

1.The service

CodeHub Academy offers video courses for university computer science modules, with tools to study: a planner, focus sessions, study rooms, a digital classroom and questions answered by the instructor.

The first lessons of each course are free. The rest of a course is unlocked by payment or with a referral reward.

2.Your account

You need an email address and a password. Keep them to yourself: an account is personal.

An account is active on one phone at a time. Moving it to a new phone is automatic, except within 14 days of a previous move, when the team checks the request.

Sharing an account, or trying to get around the one-phone rule, can lead to the account being suspended.

3.Payment

Prices are shown in the app, in Moroccan dirhams. You pay by one of the methods listed in the support chat and send the receipt there; the course is unlocked once the team has confirmed the payment.

Never send a payment to anyone other than the details given in the app’s support chat.

4.Refunds

You can ask for a refund within 7 days of your payment, as long as you have watched less than 20% of the course. Ask in the support chat; the refund is made by the method you paid with where possible.

5.Referrals

Each account has an invite code. A friend who signs up with it counts once they have confirmed their email, completed their profile and watched one free lesson to the end. A set number of friends who count earns one course of your choice, which stays unlocked.

Your own other accounts, emails or phone numbers do not count. Sign-ups that look alike are checked by the team before they count. A monthly limit applies. Abuse cancels the rewards it produced.

6.The content

Courses, videos, documents and the CodeHub Academy brand belong to CodeHub Academy. Your access is personal: you may not record, copy, share or resell them. Videos are protected and carry a watermark that identifies the account.

What you add yourself (photos in your classroom, notes, questions) stays yours. You allow us to store and show it to you, and, for questions, to the other students of the course.

7.Conduct

Questions, answers and study rooms are for studying. No insults, harassment, spam or content that is not yours to share. The team can hide a post or suspend an account that breaks these rules.

8.Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the service available and the content accurate, but we cannot guarantee a result in an exam. CodeHub Academy is not affiliated with any university or school.

9.Changes and law

If these terms change, we will tell you in the app before the change applies. These terms are governed by Moroccan law.
