Privacy policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026 · This text is provisional until it has been reviewed.
This policy explains what CodeHub Academy collects, why, and what you can ask of us. It follows Moroccan law 09-08 on the protection of personal data.
1.What we collect
Your account: email address, name, school, filière and semester, and a phone number and an institutional email if you choose to give them.
Your phone: a one-way fingerprint of an install identifier (never the identifier itself), the model and the system version, to keep your account on one phone at a time.
Your studying: lessons watched and how far, your study plan, focus time, questions and answers, notes, and the files you put in your digital classroom.
Support and payments: your messages with the team, the receipts you send and the payments confirmed.
Referrals: when you sign up with an invite code, the network you signed up from (to its first three numbers), the phone and a simplified form of your email, only to check that one person is not inviting themselves.
2.Why
To run the service you signed up for, to confirm payments, to answer you, to keep referrals fair, to protect the content, and to understand which lessons help so we can make them better.
3.Who processes it
Our database and file storage (Supabase, in the European Union), video delivery (VdoCipher), email (Resend), notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging) and product statistics (PostHog). They process data for us only, under contract. We never sell your data.
4.This website
This site remembers your language (a cookie) and your theme (on your device only). It counts visits and button taps without advertising cookies and without following you on other sites.
5.How long
As long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted or anonymised, except what the law obliges us to keep (payment records).
6.Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to a use of it, by writing to contact@codehubacademy.io. We answer within 30 days. You can also contact the CNDP (Commission nationale de contrôle de la protection des données à caractère personnel).
7.Security
Access to every piece of data is checked by the database itself, connections are encrypted, and your password is never stored in readable form. To report a vulnerability: security@codehubacademy.io.
8.Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it applies.
